Dave Mohr, MBA

Dave Mohr is a higher education operations and financial executive with expertise in leading and growing colleges and universities. Mr. Mohr co-founded  Salud Education to develop new medical schools and health science programs in underserved markets in the U.S. and internationally.

Prior experience with medical and healthcare education includes the startups of the St. Luke School of Medicine in Mexico City (2015), the Orlando College of Osteopathic Medicine (2023), and the Meritus School of Osteopathic Medicine (2025).. He is an authority on accreditation, operations and building institutions with strong student outcomes. .

Mr. Mohr is a 3x president of accredited private colleges in Pennsylvania, Illinois and California, 2x CEO including leading a private equity-backed multi-site education holding company, 4x CFO and experience in the U.S. and internationally (Mexico, Japan and China).

He has significant transaction experience having worked on 100+ acquisitions and led multiple rounds of equity, senior and mezzanine debt financing. His operational experience includes growth and turnaround management, complex regulatory oversight, process improvement, labor negotiations, program effectiveness and student outcome improvement.

Mr. Mohr started his career in commercial banking with ABN AMRO/LaSalle Bank where he was a founding member of its Higher Education Specialty Lending Group. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa where he was also a NCAA, Division I student-athlete and 3-year varsity letterman (Track & Field). Mr. Mohr is an Eagle Scout and active volunteer on the local, national, and international level with the Boy Scouts of America.
